As a regional centre of excellence in ophthalmology, the Department of Ophthalmology has been providing high quality and comprehensive ophthalmic services to the Kowloon East Cluster. We uphold the value of sustainability and offer a variety of services, including but not limited to outpatient clinics, inpatient care, ophthalmic examinations and surgeries. Equipped with state-of-the-art technology, together with a combined effort from experienced ophthalmologists, optometrists and nurses, we aim to provide patient-centred care. As an affiliated Academic Unit of HKU Ophthalmology since 2012, we have been actively participating in academic research and teaching activities, as well as adopting an evidence based medicine approach.
