Building on our strong foundation, we had continued our strength in subspecialty development and providing the highest quality and patient-centered care to our patients.
Being the founder and the leading team in facial plastic surgery in Hong Kong, we are recognised as the facial plastic surgery training centre by the Hong Kong College of Otorhinolaryngologists (HKCORL). We continue to provide comprehensive services for children and adults with congenital or acquired ear deformity, cleft lip nasal deformity, facial paralysis, skin malignancy and scar management. We are also accredited as the Post-Fellowship Head and Neck Training Center, conjointly with Prince of Wales Hospital, by the HKCORL. To tailor-make optimal treatment for our patients, we had spectrum of open surgery, minimally invasive surgery, robotic surgery, radiofrequency ablation and free flaps reconstruction. Being the pioneer in ambulatory surgery locally, we promote ambulatory endolaryngeal laser surgery in treating different laryngological conditions. Through the collaboration with CUHK Otology team, we have been treating patients with complex otological conditions and cochlear implantation to improve the sense of hearing. Our paediatric ENT team has been highly recognized for the comprehensive and holistic care for children with special needs, in particular management of airway problems. Our rhinology and skull base team pioneered endoscopic nasopharyngectomy locally in Hong Kong since 2009. We have collaboration with neurosurgeons at other regional hospitals in the management of anterior skull base tumour, and with ophthalmologists in the management of thyroid eye disease and other oculoplastic conditions. Our sleep surgery team is strong with the collaborative teamwork from maxillofacial surgeons, respiratory physicians, paediatricians and psychiatrists, to provide comprehensive treatment for adults and children with obstructive sleep apnoea syndrome.
